Sam Walsh Art

This website is about the Irish born artist Sam Walsh (1934 -1989) who first came to prominence during the “Beat” scene in 1960’s Liverpool. Though often associated with Pop Art, his body of work spans a broad range of styles. His most well known painting is Mike’s Brother 1964 a portrait of The Beatles’ Paul McCartney, which is on permanent display at the National Portrait Gallery, London, England.
